The Artists in Residence program is an effort by the Kriti Gallery to provide a space for artists to interact with each other, Kriti Gallery and the city of Banaras. The residency has 5 apartments, each with its own studio, shared open air courtyard space and a common dinning space. Meals are cooked for the artists residing at Kriti Gallery. Swiss Organisation KSK/CVSC has 3 apartments for the period of Jan 07 - Dec 09. KSK/CVSC selects swiss artists for these apartments. Two apartments are open for direct applications to Kriti Gallery. At Kriti Gallery we wish that the residency be a space for sharing and evolving for artists of all types and expect them to benefit from the experience, effort and the city of Banaras.
